FKF sets out schedule for coaches training

In a bid to build capacity amongst coaches in the country, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has organised a series of courses and educational initiatives as the Federation seeks to develop skillset and expertise across all levels of training in Kenya.
The comprehensive programme reflects FKF’s dedication to improving coaching standards and developing football across Kenya. The variety of courses offered ensures that coaches at different levels can access appropriate training and certification opportunities.
FKF Technical Director Michael Amenga emphasised the importance of these initiatives, stating: “Enhancing football development requires a strong investment in capacity building through well-structured coaching courses. By providing coaches with up-to-date methodologies and techniques, we ensure that players receive high-quality training, nurturing talent from the grassroots to the elite level. This dedication to education improves the standard of play and fortifies the entire football ecosystem.”
To further enhance coaching education, FKF has organised several specialised courses. This will include a FIFA Educators Course (July 21st – August 1st); CAF Educators Course (September 15th – 26th)
and a Women Only Goalkeeping Course (October 13th – 24th).
The federation will also offer the CAF A coaching course in Nairobi, running from October 6th, 2025, to April 8th, 2026. As for CAF B Coaching courses schedule in Nairobi county, there will be two programs; June 9th – October 10th & August 4th – December 12th.
In the CAF C Coaching Course Schedule, six regions are in consideration. The CAF C coaching courses will be conducted. The Rift Valley Region will have April 7th – June 10th slotted. In the Central Region, the schedule runs between May 5th – July 11th.In Nairobi Region, the dates between, July 14th – September 17th has been locked for the trainings. Nyanza Region will be from September 8th – November 12th while in the Coast Region, the schedule runs from September 22nd – November 25th. Western Region: will take October 6th – December 10th.
