The Israel Ambassador to Kenya H.E. Michael Lotem paid a courtesy call to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua this morning at Harambee House Annex.
The two discussed various issues, among them the drought situation in the country and areas of mutual collaboration between the Republic of Kenya and Israel, including agriculture, health, and water.
Kenya and Israel have enjoyed strong, fruitful, and friendly relations over the years based on respect and trust.
Both countries have had several common and similar historical experiences and wish to foster this in the future.
They agreed to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation for the good of the people.
