Special Service Unit officers attached to Directorate of Criminal Investigation(DCI) have today rescued a 4-year-old boy who was abducted from their Muranga home last week.
Baby Liam Ngucwa Mwangi, who is believed to have been kidnapped by his grandparents’ houseboy, was found at a house in Naivasha, following days of his painstaking search.
“Today’s rescue followed a meticulous mission, executed by detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau, augmented by their Special Service Unit counterparts,” stated DCI.
Meanwhile, detectives are pursuing baby Liam’s captors, who escaped narrowly moments before the rescue.
“Should you have any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects, please notify us through our anonymous toll free line 0800722203,” added DCI.
