Nakuru to host sixth leg of 2025 NCBA Golf Series
Six outstanding players will qualify for the series' grand finale
The sixth leg of the 2025 Golf Series sponsored by NCBA Bank is set to take place this Saturday at the par-73 Nakuru Golf Club with top names expected to grace the two day competition.
This tournament will bring together 180 amateur golfers from across the Rift Valley region, all vying for top honors and a chance to secure coveted slots at the series’ Grand Finale later this year.
A hole-in-one prize will be on offer courtesy of leading construction and agricultural equipment dealer, JCB Ganatra Plant and Equipment. The prize will be a brand-new JCB Backhoe Loader, Model 3DX—a significant reward for the rare achievement.
This event follows successful outings at VetLab Sports Club, Nandi Bears Club, Malindi Golf Club, and Kenya Railway Golf Club. From the Nakuru event, six outstanding players will qualify for the 2025 NCBA Golf Series Grand Finale. These will include the Overall Men’s Gross Winner, Overall Ladies’ Gross Winner, Division 2 Men’s and Ladies’ Winners, the Overall Division 3 Winner, and the Junior Winner.
Nakuru Golf Club Captain Eng. Michael Mululu affirmed the club’s readiness to host the tournament, noting the significance of such events in developing local golfing talent:

The course is one of the trickiest in the golfing calendar even for the professionals. The picturesque and scenic 18-hole course is a favorite hunting ground for players and organisers believe that competition will be tight.
