Co-op Bank offers help to woman walking Nairobi streets in her birthday suit

Co-op Bank has revealed it is engaging a professional medical facility to offer assistance to a woman who has been walking the streets of Nairobi in her birthday suit while claiming that the lender swindled her Ksh 10 billion.

In a statement posted of its social media handles, Co-op Bank’s Head of Marketing & Communication Ngumo Kahiga cited various clips that have been circulating online, which, he said, give indication that the lady, only identified as M/s Mueni, requires relevant medical assistance,

“The Bank has noted the inappropriate postings outside one of our branches on Social media by a certain lady M/s Mueni , who from the various clips on diverse social issues requires relevant medical assistance. Our Bank Wellness are engaging a professional medical facility that could offer the needed help. We are now trying to trace the immediate family / next of kin who would support on the necessary due process for medical support,” he posted.

Some netizens, however, expressed doubt over the amount she claims to have lost, saying it is more than the annual profits made by tier 2 banks.
