President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged KCPE pupils to believe in themselves as the exam begins today. The Head of State advised the candidates not to be concerned about the exam’s outcome as long as they tried their best to write what they had learnt from their lecturers.
“Remember what we have always told you, whatever the outcome, we believe in you,” the President said in a press statement.
“We know you have been imparted with adequate knowledge and information for the task ahead of you. Cheating will not give you yields, instead, it will destroy you. Trust in your hard work,” Kenyatta said.
An estimated 1,225,693 candidates in 28,248 locations around the country are siting the exam.
The exams will run for three days, starting from Monday, March 7 and end on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
