Former Starehe Constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Charles Njagua popularly known as Jaguar has made a music comeback after a failed political career.
Jaguar on Tuesday, August 16 through his social media platforms revealed that he had a new song out.
“Just dropped my new single #Nitume after a long break. I collaborated on this with my brother @ambassadaofficial from Uganda. It’s Now Available on YouTube,” he said.
The former legislator claimed he had gone missing due to political engagements but was glad to be back in the entertainment industry.
Prior to his new song, Jaguar had been preoccupied with politics for a while and never managed to focus on his music career.
He joined politics and supported William Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta in the Jubilee Government back in 2013 and due to his political connections got lucky and became a legislator of Starehe constituency.
Jaguar would however fall out with the ruling party forcing him to quit the President Uhuru Kenyatta led party.
He would later join the Deputy president’s party United Democratic Alliance (UDA) to defend his seat.
However, he failed to earn a nomination with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party and decided to go as an Independent candidate in the August 9, 2022 general elections.
Jaguar noted that the new song was meant to send a message of hope and peace to the Kenyan people.
