A seventeen years old boy tabbed his step-father to death for quarreling his mother over alleged extramarital affairs Mikindani, Mombasa County.
The boy, now in hiding is said to have grabbed two kitchen knives before descending on the deceased and stabbed him to death.
According to preliminary police investigations show the slain man died of blood hemorrhage after sustaining multiple stab wounds on the chest, stomach and face.
Police findings indicate the boy is a student at Kajembe High school.
Police have launched manhunt for the boy who went into hiding immediately after committing the heinous act.
The deceased was rushed to Mikindani Medical Centre for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The incident was reported to the police by the boy’s mother.
“Efforts to trace the suspect are underway,” a senior officer said.
The body of the deceased was moved to the Coast General Hospital pending autopsy examination.
