Two Mandera teachers killed in dawn Shabaab raid

Police have launched a manhunt for al Shabaab militants who ambushed a school in Mandera and killed two teachers.

The terrorists stormed Arabia Boys Secondary School in Mandera on Wednesday at about 1 am and hurled an explosive device at the teachers’ quarters. Two teachers, who were in the house, perished.

“All other teachers and students are safe. The hunt for the attackers is ongoing,” the police said in a tweet.

There are four non-local teachers in the school.
