Top insurance bosses implicated in mega fraud face possible prosecution, jail terms

Grapevine has it that the probe could drag in senior managers from a key parastatal and the regulator, Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA)

The recently Sh13billion unearthed mega fraud committed by top managers and board members at the Kenya Union of Savings and Credit Co-operatives (KUSCCO) who have since been arrested and charged before court could turn to be child’s play if the magnitude of an ongoing probe against one of the leading insurance firms top honchos is anything to go by.

Those profiled as persons of interest in the probe are said to be on an overdrive to stall the investigations that if they are proven guilty could spell doom to the insurance firm which has local and foreign and possibly come tumbling down.
