ODM National Treasurer Timothy Bosire rejects appointment as NTSA chairman
He joins a growing list of President Ruto's appointees who have so far declined their appointments to various positions.

Orange Democratic Movement Party National Treasurer Timothy Bosire has declined President William Ruto’s appointment as chairman of the board of the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
Bosire said the decision has been made after consultation with his family and friends.
“After consultation with a section of the leadership, my family, and friends; I have decided to decline the appointment by the president. I thank the president for his consideration,” Bosire told local media.
While making several State Agency appointments yesterday in a gazette notice, President William Ruto had appointed ODM party Treasurer Timothy Bosire, a close ally of ODM leader Raila Odinga, a non-executive chairperson of the Board of Directors of at NTSA.
Bosire joins a growing list of President Ruto’s appointees who have so far declined their appointments to various positions.
Former nominated Senator Millicent Omanga last year declined her appointment as a member of the Nairobi Rivers Commission, chaired by former Starehe MP Bishop Margaret Wanjiru citing personal reasons.
She was yesterday appointed by Defense CS Soipan Tuya as a member of the Board of Directors at Kenya Shipyard Limited.
Former Information, Communication, and Digital Economy CS Margret Ndung’u few days ago turned down President Ruto’s appointment after being nominated as the new High Commissioner to Ghana.
Her decline came after former West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi also declined the same position, citing personal reasons.
Former Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka also recently declined his appointment as chairman of the board of the Kenya Animal Genetic Resource Centre.
