Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Interior Karanja Kibicho has warned politicians against forming criminal gangs during the campaign season.
Speaking at Gitugi in Mathioya constituency where he officialy opened four new divisional headquarters that had been put up using Mathioya CDF, the PS noted that Murang’a County is leading in the formation of such gangs where it has always been reported of hosting goons that are funded by politicians.
Kibicho cautioned politicians that the security officers in Murang’a will execute their mission of enforcing the law without any apology and thus the politicians should not cry foul of being targeted by the security agents.
The PS officially opened four divisional headquarters at Gitugi, Gacharageini and Kanjama before touring Kamacharia division in Mathioya constituency, all of which have been fully funded by Mathioya CDF.
