Defence Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Monica Juma yesterday received Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) donated to Kenya Defence Forces by the Kenya Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund Board team led by the Board’s Chairman who also is the CEO Equity Bank Group, Dr. James Mwangi at the Defence Headquarters, Nairobi.
The CS thanked the team and further expressed gratitude for the support KDF has received so far since the start of the Pandemic.
“We are the last line of defence, and thus should always be ready despite the stress in resources. We appreciate the support.” She said.
She also assured the board that KDF will stand ready to assist in the distribution of commodities and resources to far-flung areas.
