Cricket Kenya and AOS Sports in partnership agreement over T20 League

Cricket Kenya’s Board of Directors has formalised a landmark partnership with AOS Sport Tournaments, Dubai/India, through the signing of a contractual agreement.

This strategic collaboration will give rise to the Cricket Kenya T20 (CKT20) league, poised to catapult Kenyan cricket to unprecedented heights. The CKT20 league promises to unlock vast potential for Kenyan cricketers, as well as talented players from African associate member nations.

Chandra Prakash Panwar, Chairman of AOS, emphasised that this initiative aligns with the vision of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who graciously pledged comprehensive support to the Kenyan government in the realms of tourism and sports.

Panwar said the initiative aligns with the vision of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who pledged comprehensive support to the Kenyan government in the realms of tourism and sports.

“We thank CK for having held talks with us and we believe this is the beginning of a fabulous journey. The CK T20 League will be beneficial to a lot of players from this region and indeed we want to see the Kenyan game come good like years before,” said Panwar.

The CK Board has been intentional since coming to office of forging partnerships in bringing high level tournaments to keep the national teams busy even as they seek to raise back the standards of the game to its former glory.

CK Chairperson Manoj Patel was an elated man about the deal which he praised as historic.

“Indeed, it is a moment to cherish and be proud of. With such a kind of an arrangement, we will be looking forward to developing our game more particularly looking at our junior teams. I thank AOS Sport Management for such an honor and trust in our game and we look forward to greater tidings. This move is also part of our strategic plan to ensure we are deliberate in returning our cricket back to its place.”
