Colombia Africa is an outfit of Columbia Pacific Management, which has also invested in China, Malaysia, India, Vietnam and Indonesia before setting base in Kenya in 2016.

It has two outpatient centres in Lavington and Parklands, Nairobi and is planning to continue its expansion in and outside the city.

Speaking at the opening in Ruiru, Columbia Africa medical advisor Dr. John Tole said the new outpatient facility will offer consultation, family medicine, mother and child care, dental and optical services.

Tole said they aim to bring its globally recognized healthcare model directly to the residents of Ruiru, ensuring patients receive expert-driven and compassionate care.

The facility is designed as a one stop centre for comprehensive outpatient services, eliminating the need for multiple referrals or repeat hospital visits.

“We are committed to making high-quality healthcare both accessible and affordable, ensuring that families in this area get the best possible treatment close to home. Patients will have access to expert medical consultations across key specialties, including pediatrics, family medicine, dermatology and internal medicine,” said Tole.

“Diagnostic services such as general radiology, mammography, ultrasound, a modern laboratory, and non-invasive cardiology assessments are all available under one roof,” he said.

The facility is partnering with leading insurance providers allowing patients to receive services with minimal out of pocket costs to enhance access to health care services.
