Co-op Bank open second branch at BBS Mall in Eastleigh, Nairobi

The Cooperative Bank of Kenya has opened a second branch at the busy BBS Mall in Eastleigh, Nairobi as it amplifies its physical presence and a commanding lead as the financial institution of choice in the country.

“Exciting news, in Eastleigh. We’ve opened our second branch in Eastleigh at BBS Mall. Join us as we continue to serve you better and closer to home. Your financial journey just got even easier.” The bank said.

The planned expansion will see the bank improve on its physical presence and number of outlets across the country thus brining financial services closer to the people.

Among other new branches the bank has opened include; Ruiru Nord Mall branch, Dagoretti Market branch and Mai Mahiu branch.

Others are Marimanti branch, Naromoru branch, Eldoret Airport Road branch and Eldama Ravine branch respectively.

In March this year, the tier 1 commercial lender announced plans to solidify its commanding foothold in the country and lined up to unveil fifteen new branches this year including the newly opned Luanda Branch.

The planned expansion will see the bank improve on its physical presence and number of outlets across the country thus brining financial services closer to the people.

The 15 branches will add to the eight opened last year and five in 2022.

As of September 2023, Co-op Bank had 193 branches countrywide.

Already, Co-op Bank has opened one branch in Ugunja town in Siaya county and will this month be opening another one in Imaara Shopping Mall in Nairobi along the Mombasa Road at the entrance to Nairobi’s Imara Daima estate.
