Three women nabbed for spiking men’s drinks at Kamakis
Three women have been arrested for allegedly spiking the drinks of three revelers who were having drinks at a popular Nyama Choma and drinking joint at Kamakis along the Eastern By-Pass.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the three men had checked into Green Spot Gardens yesterday afternoon and after imbibing some few drinks and ordering some roasted meat, invited the three suspects to join them in the feast.
The women namely Hellen Wambui, 36, Irene Wairimu, 30, and Fidelis Wambui, 34 pretended to be hesitant at first but later gave in to their request.
“The men filled with boyish excitement enjoyed their newfound company as hit song Wendo Wi Cama by popular Kikuyu musician Samidoh and Joyce Wamama rent the air, setting the mood for a happy ending,” DCI stated.
“Little did the men know that they had innocently invited a marauding pack of pishori babes whose intentions were not to have fun but to steal from them!”
According to DCI, when evening progressed, the women laced the drinks with a stupefying substance and began wooing the men whispering that it was about time.
Luckily, the bartender working at the eatery noticed suspicious activities around the table where the 6 were and immediately informed police officers who arrived at the premise and arrested the three.
Upon conducting a thorough search on the suspects, detectives recovered stupefying tablets.
The suspects are currently held at the Ruiru police station awaiting arraignment.
