Twenty-two Transzoia County Members of County Assembly who were arrested earlier today by EACC detectives have been released by an Eldoret court on Sh200, 000 bond each or a surety of Sh150, 000 cash bail.
The MCAs were arrested following fraud case of Sh3 million, the amount they allegedly acquired for the burial of one of their colleagues.
The 22 out of 41 appeared before resident Magistrate Harrison Barrasa. The case will be heard on 15th February 2017.
