Senator Gideon Moi’s supporters have opposed plans to move Tiaty MP Asman Kamama from the powerful National Assembly Committee on security to that of Energy claiming that it’s a scheme to undermine him.
Led by Uasin Gishu Kanu branch chairman Jonathan Bii said Kamama should not be allowed to chair another parliamentary because he had been widely mentioned in connection with soaring cases of insecurity in his Baringo County backyard.
Speaking in Emining, Baringo County where Senator Moi addressed a rally, Bii described the people of Baringo as peace loving but took issue with what he termed as incitement by leaders and bad politics for rising cases of violent attacks.
