70 KCSE students kicked out of school after breaking into girl’s dormitory

70 Form Four students from the Anestar Boys High School in Nakuru who broke into the Anestar Precious Girls Secondary School have been kicked out of school.

The 2021 KCSE candidates will now be required to make arrangements of how they will sit for the remaining papers including where they will be staying for the duration.

This comes after ten students from Anestar Bahati Boys were arrested yesterday night after they broke into a girl’s dormitory in the nearby Anestar Precious Girls secondary school.

Nakuru County Commissioner Erastus Mbui confirmed the incident saying that 60 others were arrested today morning as they attempted to sneak back into their school.

According to Mbui, parents of the students will be required to make arrangements of how the students sit for the remaining papers as they will not be allowed into the boarding area.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the boys whose mission still remains unclear, had sneaked out of their school in their numbers and gained access to the girls’ dormitory under the cover of darkness.

Officers from Githioro Police Station responded swiftly and rushed to the school after the girls raised alarm.

“But not even the arrival of our men would scare away the defiant boys who kept hovering around the dormitory forcing one of the officers to fire a round in the air to scare them away,” read the DCI tweet.

The arrested have been placed in custody at Dundori Patrol Base, pending further action.
