A Chinese has accused two traffic police officers of violently robbing him Sh1million in cash that was placed on the back seat of his car stashed in an envelope.
According to Liz Zhixin, he was allegedly flagged down by the two duo traffic cops while driving from Westlands towards Junction Mall along Othaya Road.
According to a complaint report he filed with the polivce, Liz says one of the officers opened the back seat of the vehicle and took an envelope containing Sh1million and left behind his official cap.
“He parked his car beside the road whereby they took his driving licence and the car keys.” Part of the police report reads in part.
He told the police that the duo escaped using a getaway car, a white Toyota Fielder, registration number KCL 762.
However, Liz told the police he did not manage to get the last letter of the registration number.
According to Liz, the two officers drove towards Gitanga Road.
