Interviews for the 104 shortlisted applicants for the positions of High Court judges will begin earnest tomorrow as the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) seeks to fill the twenty available vacancies.
The interviews will be conducted at the JSC office boardroom situated at the Reinsurance Plaza in Nairobi.
Among those set to be interviewed include; Deputy Supreme court registrar Daniel Kanyinke, President of Kenya Magistrate and Judges Association Derrick Kuto, Magistrates Representative to JSC Emily Ominde, Anticorruption court Chief Magistrates Douglas Ogoti, Lawrence Mugambi and Elizabeth Juma.
Others are Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and magistrates Achieng’ Pamela, Adika Harrison Musa Sajide, Ambasi Lucy Njeri, and Ameyo Edna Asachi Nyaloti among others.
Professor Nixon Wanyama Sifuna, a legal practitioner and expert on environmental law who also interviewed for the position of Court of Appeal Judge in 2019, is also among the shortlisted candidates.
