Eacc sleuths arrest former National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yattani, raid his home

Detectives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (Eacc) have seized former National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yattani after laying siege at his home in a suspected graft probe.

Yatani also previously served as governor for Marsabit county.

He is expected to be taken to Eacc headquarters at Integrity Centre Police Station for grilling over alleged involvement in a multi-billion graft.

Also, the Eacc detectives are said to have also zeroed in on current Marsabit governor Mohamud Mohamed Ali and several other top county officials over alleged financial misappropriation.
