The I&M Bank has launched a brisk solution in Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania to allow customers to access real-time withdrawals, deposits and funds transfers.
Through a statement, I&M Bank Kenya Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kihara Maina said the bank seeks to re-define regional banking by offering its customers a borderless banking experience that lets them manage their finances whenever and wherever they want.
“BRISK provides our customers with one convenient account that caters to all their transactional needs across the Region. Whenever our customers move within the three countries, they will not need to open a new account, they just take their existing account with them,” said Maina.
Maina stated that the Group’s corporate strategy, branded iMara 2.0, aims to utilise synergies among the Group’s businesses in order to create solutions that fulfill clients’ personal or business needs across the area.
“Our aspiration is to go beyond traditional banking to offer our customers across the region all-round financial solutions that address their expectations of a true financial growth partner who helps them to meet their financial and lifestyle requirements,” he concluded.
He further noted the bank has placed digitisation at the core of its corporate strategy and has invested in advanced data analytics to inform data driven decision making in development of its financial solutions.
“I&M BRISK is an addition to the Bank’s robust digital offerings and will support the Bank’s business growth initiatives by ensuring that the Bank simplifies banking for its customers across the Eastern Africa region,” Maina said.
Additionally, the same service will be extended to Uganda and Mauritius where the Group has a presence.
