Inchcape Kenya launched a lavish Range Rover yesterday, codenamed L460, which is the fifth generation from the Land Rover line.
The new Range Rover design appears extremely smooth, with the rounded edge of the door melding seamlessly with the glass.
These small details contribute to the large model’s outstanding drag coefficient of 0.30.
Speaking during the media launch event held at the Jaguar Land Rover Showroom, Inchcape Africa Managing Director, Francis Agbonlahor, noted that the vehicle upholds its reputation of pioneering innovation with the suite of technologies designed to enhance convenience, efficiency and safety.
“The new Range Rover L460 incorporates Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates meaning the vehicle will constantly evolve and remain up to date as it matures,” he said.
Other features that contribute to the vehicle being the ultimate SUV experience include adaptive cruise control and steering assist, which smooth out body movements caused by sudden changes in speed.

The car is now on sale in Kenya at the Inchcape Land Rover dealership. The cost of the luxury vehicles is valued at Sh45million (USD308,000) and varies depending on the model.
The Managing Director Francis Agbonlahor described the L460 as the world’s most desired sports utility vehicle (SUV).
Agbonlahor also revealed that the new Range Rover would be available in different variants, including the High Standard Equipment (HSE), Autobiography, SV, and the 1st Edition (only available in the first year of manufacture. The vehicle is meant to ensure the comfort of passengers with chairs that can be electronically adjusted and heated.
Alongside ample leg room, the cabin also contains charging ports and ambience lighting. Passengers will also enjoy noise cancellation features and air purification to remove odour, bacteria and allergens. Those in the backseat also enjoy different temperatures from the driver.
