Two middle-aged men and a woman were yesterday afternoon found dead inside a room at Chairman’s Lounge Embakasi, Nairobi county in a case of a suspected suicide pact.
According to the police report, Boniface Muchiri Waruiru, 28 and Philip Murefu Simiyu booked the room alongside Waruiru.
“The lifeless were found lying in bed holding each other from the shoulders and their lips held firmly to each other,” the report read in part.
The room attendant Caroline Mbulwa Peter had become suspicious when the three failed to check out forcing her to wake the three ‘lovebirds’ who were on a threesome expedition.
However, upon knocking on the door, there was no response which prompted Caroline to report to her boss and subsequently to the police.
The police were forced to break the door which was locked from the inside only to discover the lifeless bodies of the three.
Sleuths who were on duty were able to ascertain the identities of the two after they discovered the identity cards of the deceased.
The bodies of the deceased have since been moved to the city mortuary awaiting post-mortem.
According to the police report, there were no visible injuries or signs of struggle but Waruiru had bled from the mouth and nose.
