Rubis Kenya Limited and all her subsidiaries has denied claims made by handful politicians directed at the Kenyan public, saying it has no connections whatsoever with the Kenyatta’s family.
This attention has been drawn to them in light of the escalating fuel prices in the country.
The oil firm, in regards to this, has made strategy not to hoard fuel and make all the stock and reserves available for purchase by the Kenyan public and they should be applauded for it and not demonised.
Rubis is a France-based multinational that has invested in different countries in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean, and therefore it considers this narrative as callous propaganda and a weaponisation of political narratives to disadvantage the business.
In collaboration with relevant authorities, Rubis Energy Kenya has endeavoured to make the current situation short and non-restrictive as possible to its customers.
The oil firm has now instructed the lawyers to investigate the possibility of pursuing defamation suits against individuals who are negatively tainting their brand.
