Magata Bruce Mackenzie has emerged as the top candidate for the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) nationally with 428 marks followed closely by Momanyi Ashley Kerubo with 427 marks.
The results were released today and 1.2 million students sat for their KCPE exams this year from 28,213 examinations centres across the country.
According to Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, headteachers will be required to download the online result slips for candidates in their schools and authenticate the same before releasing the results to parents and guardians.
“Those who wish to receive their results via text message can do so by sending their Index number, followed by the initials ‘KCPE’ to 20076,” he said.
