What to do to have a restful weekend

Weekends seem to fly by, but they last far longer than we believe, it only depends on how you manage your time.

That’s plenty of time for some fun and relaxation. You want your weekends to leave you feeling rejuvenated, not exhausted or disappointed, so you can return to work on Monday feeling ready to go?

For you to have a good weekend consider the following :

Get more physical activity

Start with mild activities like walking or biking if you’re currently inactive. Choosing an activity that you enjoy will boost your chances of staying with it over time.

Have a healthy diet without skipping meals

Increasing your diet of whole foods such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, seafood, nuts, and seeds while reducing your intake of highly processed meals and beverages will assist to ensure that your body is well fed. As a result, your stress resilience may improve.

Do not be consumed by FOMO

For the uninitiated, FOMO means the fear of missing out. Do not spend too much time on your screen, whether TV or phone. Screen time may negatively affect sleep, which may also lead to increased stress levels.
