TSC promotes over 25,000 teachers
Those promoted are teachers in primary schools as well as secondary schools and Teacher Training Colleges
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has released a list of 25,252 newly promoted teachers following interviews conducted in January and February this year.
The list, which has been published on the TSC website, however, contains fewer numbers than the 25,288 vacancies that had been advertised.
Those promoted are teachers in primary schools as well as secondary schools and Teacher Training Colleges. The teachers employer conducted interviews between January 13 and February 6
Already, letters for those who were successful have been dispatch to TSC County Directors offices for onwards transmission to the teachers.
The TSC first advertised vacancies for 5,690 school administrators with interviews being conducted in November last year.
This was followed by advertisement for an additional 19,943 slots for teachers from job group C1 to D3 out of which 16,109 slots were allocated to primary schools and 9,179 to post primary institutions.
