His remarks came hours after Nadia Mukami publicly confirmed that the couple had parted ways following a difficult and emotionally challenging period. In a heartfelt statement shared on her Instagram Stories, the award-winning singer revealed that the pair had experienced an on-and-off relationship for the past one and a half years while trying to keep their family together.
Nadia disclosed that she had been struggling with postpartum depression while balancing motherhood, business, public life and her music career. She described the period as one of the most difficult chapters of her life, saying the emotional toll had been overwhelming.
“Being a lady that always wanted family, I fought sooo hard but I guess I lost,” she wrote, expressing disappointment that efforts to save the relationship had not succeeded.
The separation comes just months after the couple welcomed their second child together. Despite the breakup, Nadia emphasized that they remain committed to co-parenting their two sons with love, respect and maturity.
