betPawa, FKF partner to launch rewards initiative for Women’s Cup

FKF CEO says the Locker Room Bonus initiative provides financial relief to female players

Betting firm, betPawa, has teamed up with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to unveil the Locker Room Bonus initiative for FKF Women’s Cup, a ground breaking sponsorship designed to empower female players and technical staff through performance-based rewards.

The programme will provide immediate financial bonuses to winning teams and individuals reinforcing betPawa’s commitment to advancing excellence in Kenyan Football.

Under the initiative, financial rewards will be distributed as such; Preliminary Matches: Ksh 85,000 to each winning team per match, Ksh 3,300 for each of the 23 players and 3 technical staff members on the winning squad. Additionally, in the Final Match: Ksh 118,300 to the championship winning team and Ksh 4,550 for each of the 23 players and 3 technical staff members.

This structure ensures that every victory directly benefits both teams and individuals, fostering motivation and professionalism and sustainable growth in women’s football.
