DCI unmasks deadly ‘Basmati babes’ stupefying revelers
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has revealed the identities of women behind the dangerous ‘pishori’ administration by Samuel Mugoh Muvota, a man who was shot six times and killed at Mirema Drive on Thika Road.
DCI released 12 names of the deadly gang of women who were experts in stupefying revellers at popular drinking spots within Nairobi and its environs.
According to DCI, they were mainly targeting middle-aged to older men whom they suspected to have enough money in their accounts by the way they dressed and the drinks they ordered.
The detectives further revealed that most of the women had been arrested before, but Muvota always came back to their rescue.
The directorate, however, said that most of the cases were never reported since the victims were reputable people in society.
“Most of these cases often went unreported since the drugged men are mainly married and respectable people in the society who wouldn’t wish to let out the skeletons in their cupboards,” DCI stated.
DCI further stated that with the death of Muvota, the pishori empire ladies have left the city in droves to their rural areas, from where they are monitoring how things unfold.
The directorate urged bar owners to be on the lookout for suspicious women out to spike drinks.
Muvota has recruited over 50 beautiful women who were deployed in major cities to steal from revellers patronising popular entertainment spots.
“With Muvota gone after the bitter fallout with his second in command who is currently at large, the Pishori Empire has been left without a leader.
Most of the women have left the city in droves to their rural areas, from where they are monitoring how things unfold,” DCI said.
Muvota is also said to have built his business empire consisting of real estate properties from proceeds of crime.
Bar owners were equally advised to be on the lookout for suspicious women, out to spike drinks in entertainment spots and report to authorities immediately.
