Shock as Bomet man cuts off his genitals before throwing them away

A middle-aged man is currently recuperating at the Tenwek Hospital in Bomet County after he cut off his private parts.

The 24-year-old Linus Kiplangat Rono is said to have cut off his genitals before throwing them away.

Kiplabotwo Chief Geoffrey Korir said the man bled profusely after the incident, with his family rushing him to the facility for urgent medical attention.

According to area residents, Korir might be under the influence of drugs.

Korir is said to have chopped off his manhood using a knife and threw away the parts before he was seen bleeding profusely and having difficulty walking.

Preliminary investigations show that the man is a known drug abuser in the area; a compulsive vice that cost him part of his nether regions.
