Seventh Day Adventist pastor goes missing in Nyamira

A family in Borabu sub county in  Nyamira County is in distress as after its member, a senior Seventh Day Adventist pastor went missing nearly a fortnight ago.
Pastor Nicholas Kibagendi is believed to have been lured on a Thursday morning by an unknown caller from his Kijauri home before  he walked out into the tarmac only to disappear for good.
Family members said the cleric who works as the Stewardship director at the Nyamira SDA regional office and was not known to undertake any business besides preaching but suspect foul play in his disappearance.
The family adds that He was in a jovial mood that day and had break fast with us before he left casually at 9 towards the  road .
The wife of the pastor Jenifer Kemunto a primary teacher said they had been attacked by thugs three times since they moved to the region a decade ago but did not suspect any possible connection to the latest incident.
She described her husband as loving and one dedicated to his family and appealed to the government to step up efforts to ensure he is found.
