Retiring parastatal casanova boss faces probe as graft claims emerge
A senior parastatal chief who has already reached retirement age but had his term controversially extended despite the Board of Directors having sacked him after serving multiple terms at the graft-laden institution is facing uncertainty following claims of personal and financial entanglements that may surface after exit from office.
The official, described by colleagues as a flamboyant and unable to control his insatiable appetite for the desires of the flesh has a reputation for lavish spending and relationships with younger women, mostly his juniors and is alleged to have acquired several apartments for companions.
One of the office girlfriends is said to have publicly declared she will dump him upon exit from office since the house is in her name.
Grapevine has it that his retirement could be turbulent as investigators prepare to scrutinise his wealth accumulation, including alleged kickbacks and proceeds of crime from contractors, some of them of Chinese origin.
