Co-op Bank is offering its customers another chance of owning two-bedroom apartments along Getathuru Road in Kabete, Kiambu County through specially arranged mortgage financing facility.
The mortgage is available starting from Sh9.5 million with Co-op Bank customers enjoying a 3 per cent discount when buying the property.
According to Co-op Bank, the houses are ready for occupation and sectional titles are available.
Through its GoodHome Mortgage Property Hub, Co-op Bank clients are able to access bank-approved properties for residential and commercial use.
The Hub is a one-stop shop that will serve the twin purpose of giving developers financed by the bank a ready market for their properties, while at the same time giving buyers a wide range of properties to choose from.
Apart from individual buyers, the platform also offers a wide range of solutions for specialised groups such as landlords, contractors and Co-operative Societies.
These include end-to-end real estate solutions including project financing and end-buyer financing.
Among the properties that the bank has offered to finance its clients to own in recent months include Serenity Homes in Naivasha and Mowlem Heights in Nairobi’s Eastlands.
Co-op Bank is one of the leading mortgage financiers in Kenya and has provided mortgage solutions since 2009.
It offers the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC) mortgage with a low interest rate of 9.5 per cent on reducing balance for purchase or construction of a single home, and is available to Kenyan individuals who are either employed, self-employed or living in the Diaspora (living/working in other countries).
One can borrow from borrow from Sh500,000 up to Sh10.5 million (property market value capped at Sh15 million). No other security is required as the property one is buying or building guarantees the mortgage.
