President Uhuru reshuffles Cabinet

His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta has reshuffled his cabinet re-assigning Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries.

In the new changes, Amb. Dr. Monica Juma has been moved to the Ministry of Energy from Defence,Eugene Wamalwa replacing her.

Charles Keter has been moved to the Ministry of Devolution from Energy.

Principal Secretaries reassigned are; Gordon Kihalangwa who has been moved to State Department for Energy from State Department for Public Works replacing Dr. Joseph Njoroge who has been moved to State Department for Transport.

Solomon Kitungu moves to State Department for Public Works from State Department for Transport.

Nelson Marwa Sospeter moves to State Department for Social Protection, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes from State Department for Social Protection.

Prof. Margaret Kobia has been assigned more duties, she will head the State Department for Social Protection, Pensions and Senior Citizens.

“The Ministry of Devolution and the ASALs is hereby reconstituted and renamed as the Ministry of Devolution,” read the statement.

“The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection is hereby reconstituted and renamed as the Ministry of Labour.”
