PCS Mudavadi host Serbian First Lady who is in the country on a special engagement

Prime Cabinet Secretary and CS for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi over the weekend welcomed Serbian First Lady, Her Excellency Tamara Vučić who is in the country on a special mission and engagement.
The two held constructive and progressive bilateral talks aimed at further advancing the foundation of good relationships built over years between Kenya and Serbia.
Mudavadi met Tamara on Satruday, October 5, 2024.
“It was an honor to welcome Her Excellency Tamara Vučić, First Lady of the Republic of Serbia, to Kenya as she embarks on a special mission of cooperation and engagement.” Mudavadi said.
Their discussions revolved around advancing the longstanding and fruitful bilateral relations between Kenya and Serbia.
“We explored new opportunities to build on the strong foundation that has been laid over the years.” PCS Mudavadi said.
Mudavadi appreciated Serbia’s solidarity and generosity in supporting Kenya’s recovery from the devastating floods through a donation of 150,000 Euros to assist in ongoing relief efforts and the rehabilitation of affected communities.
“Moving forward, Kenya remains committed to strengthening the bonds of collaboration between our two countries, particularly in areas of shared interest such as trade, education, ICT, and more.” He added.
