Athlete development is at the heart of our vision, and we will walk this journey together. As an Olympian, I know what it means to compete on the biggest stage. Taking football to the Olympics is possible with the right systems and investment. The steps we take now through Dakar and AFCON can get us there and make Kenya proud,”
FKF President Hussein Mohamed, alongside the Vice President and Former Harambee Stars Captain McDonald Mariga emphasized the need to build a football structure that respects the past, supports the present, and secures the future. “Governance, accountability, and investment will be key pillars in realizing this vision. Beyond commercializing our sport, we want to have good governance to hold these pillars.”
NOC-K also shared through Secretary General the Athletes support program of grants and mental health which FKF has promised to follow up on.
