Migori based MP on detectives’ radar over involvement in fictitious garbage collection payments at City Hall

Detectives from one of the investigative agencies are on the radar of one Member of Parliament from one of the constituencies in Migori county and some senior ranking officials at the Nairobi county government for allegedly masterminding a fraudulent payment racket involving a few selected privately contacted garbage collection firms at City Hall.

The legislator is said to be a key mastermind of the dubious payments amounting to hundreds of millions eve as heaps of decaying refuse continue to be an eyesore and a grave health hazard to Nairobi residents.

Among those targeted are a senior county honcho, officials from Finance, Environment and Procurement Departments. It is only a matter of time before the matter becomes a full-blown scandal.
