Man, 21, charged for stealing cooking oil Naivas Supermarket

A 21-year-old man has been charged at the Nairobi Law Courts for stealing cooking oil from Naivas Supermarket.

Alvin Linus Chivondo was also charged for stealing a 5kg packet of rice, tea leaves, and sugar.

The items that the young man stole is worth Sh3,165. Interesting to note that Chivondo pleaded guilty before the court.

Chivondo entered the supermarket posing as a customer, thereafter he picked the items from the shelves, the young man put the items in a non-woven carrier bag and left.

He then proceeded to exit the supermarket without paying before he was intercepted.
