Billionaire businessman Jimmy Wanjigi and his wife Irene Nzisa have sued Inspector General of Police and Director of Public Prosecution offices over the raid at their house in Muthaiga.
The couple says the action by police of forcibly entering and destroying their property is a violation of their right to privacy and human dignity.
They say the raid is illegal, unjustified and unconstitutional.
