Interior CS Kindiki appoint Anne Ng’etich as Interior PAS, recall all 8 Regional Commissioners
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has recalled all the eight regional Commissioners back to Harambee House and appointed Anne Ng’etich as the new Principal Administrative Secretary at the Ministry of Interior and National Administration in a major shakeup of the National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs).
Until her appointment, Ng’etich has been serving as the Secretary Administration in the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning.
“To enhance service delivery, the following personnel changes have been made at the Ministry of Interior and National Administration with effect from today December 31, 2022.” Kindiki said through a quick dispatch to newsrooms.
Kindiki also appointed new Regional Commissioners to replace the incumbents who will report to Harambee House awaiting redeployment.
In the new reorganisation, Rhoda Onyancha will be heading to Coast to replace John Elungata while John Otieno takes over from James Kianda as the new North Eastern Regional Commissioner.
Paul Rotich is the new Eastern Regional Commissioner while Fredrick Shisia will be in-charge of Central.
Rift Valley has a new Regional Commissioner in Dr. Abdi Hassan while Samson Irungu will be in-charge of Western, Florah Mworoa, Nyanza and Katee Mwanza replaces William Kangethe Thuku as new Nairobi Regional Commissioner.
At the same time, Kindiki has appointed Tom Anjere the new Kisii County Commissioner while William Kaimba will serve in Makueni in the same position.
Felix Watakila has been appointed the new Kajiado County Commissioner.
In the appointments,
Beverly Opwora who is currently County Commissioner for Makueni County takes over as the Secretary for National Administration while Jacob Namulen who is currently the County Commissioner for Wajir County is the new Secretary for Peace Building.
