Governor Mutua is out to destroy me, Lillian Ng’ang’a claims
The former Machakos County First lady Lillian Ng’ang’a now claims that her ex-husband, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is out to destroy her Psychologically and economically.
In a press briefing with her lawyer Philip Murgor, she accused Mutua of illegally transferring properties they acquired while living together.
Lilian alleges that Mutua illegally transferred her shares in Ndash Enterprises Limited (the hotel company) to his sister, Ann Mbandi Mutua.
“…Again, a dear act of fraud. At no point did I execute a transfer of my shares or otherwise transfer my 1600 shares (45 per cent) shareholding in the company to him, let alone his sister,” she said.
Further, she accuses the governor of gaining access to a vehicle she allegedly owns and selling it.
“Mutua, accompanied by his police guard, Martin Nzinghi arrived at my apartment parking lot at Kileleshwa, Nairobi, and without my knowledge or consent and using a spare key which he had legally obtained, drove way my personal motor vehicle KBY 186G- a car which had been fully registered in my name since 2014,” she added.
She has filed a case in court seeking a restrainment order against the governor while calling on the DPP Noordin Haji and IG Mutyambai to probe the matter.
According to Lilian, they both held a meeting on September 22, 2021 to settle the separation amicably, however, Mutua declared her as his “enemy number one” and demanded she refunds any money he had ever given her.
She alleged Mutua threatened to “crush me to ashes” and harm persons close to her.
“He further demanded I apologize and retract the statements I’ve made on social media -regarding our breakup, which I declined. He stated that he had offers from people to kill persons close to me, and threatened that he might indeed take up the offers to teach some of them a lesson,” read the statement.
She says she filed a case in court seeking a restraining order in October at the Milimani Law Courts though Mutua has been fighting and pushing to have the matter transferred to Machakos.
added that what she has described amounts to an insidious form of GBV, known as psychological and economic gender-based violence.
“I now understand first-hand how and why many women continue to suffer in silence and especially if their partners or former partners are in positions of power and influence,” she added.
Lilian has called on DPP Noordin Haji and Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai to probe the matters.
This comes after the outspoken activist Boniface Mwangi, claimed that the bombing in his house was orchestrated by Mutua.
According to Mwangi, Mutua thugs bombed his house under construction, sank the foundation and robbed his workers.
“I can’t go there now for safety reasons. I know it’s Mutua because he is a molester and an abusive man. He won’t silence me,” Mwangi said.
