No county will pay doctors who participated in strike, says Munya

The Council of Governors chairman Peter Munya has maintained that counties will not pay salaries for doctors who participated in the 100-day strike that ended on March 14.

Speaking at Muthara in Tigania East Sub County, Munya said doctors will only be paid with the effect from the day they reported back on duty saying that labour law states clearly that no one should be paid for work not done.
