Big win as TV47 onboards Ken Mijungu after exiting KTN
With his vast experience in journalism and law, Mijungu is expected to significantly enhance TV47’s editorial strength and bring in-depth political analysis to its programming
Former KTN editor and current affairs show host Ken Mijungu has found a new home at Cape Media’s TV 47 days after exiting the Standard Media Group-owned TV station.
Mijungu who was unveiled last week as a new staff is set to commence working next week Sunday.
He will be hosting “The Inside Sources” every Sunday at 9:00 pm with the “Upfront” being aired on Wednesdays. at 9:00 pm.
With his vast experience in journalism and law, Mijungu is expected to significantly enhance TV47’s editorial strength and bring in-depth political analysis to its programming.
Mijungu who has worked for almost two decades began his career during the 2007/2008 post-election period and has since worked with some of Kenya’s top media houses as a news editor, anchor, and talk show host.
His extensive experience in political reporting and legal analysis makes him a valuable addition to TV47’s newsroom.
Mijungu’s appointment coincided with TV47’s transition from DSTV Channel 268 to Channel 274, effective February yesterday, 2025.
The migration marks a new phase for the station as it continues to expand its audience reach and strengthen its position in the media landscape.
