Panicky CSs and PSs confess sponsoring pollsters for favourable ranking to evade looming sackings

The recent wave of poll rankings of best and worst performing Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries could not be objective after all.

Grapevine has it that one of the best ranked PSs whose docket has been withering a protracted storm over controversial multi-billion undertaking by the government that has proved to be both inefficient and ineffective was overheard boasting while heavily inebriated of how they (alongside other colleagues in cabinet included) sponsored skewed poll surveys to project them as best performing to evade axing in the looming cabinet reshuffle by President William Ruto.

However, if word on the corridors of power is anything to go by, honchos at the House on the Hill have flagged a couple of CSs and PSs described as ‘dead weight’ in the Kenya Kwanza administration due to their inability to clearly articulate the government agendas in their respective dockets.

With the new found political marriage between the Raila Odinga’s led ODM and the ruling Ruto’s UDA party under the broad-based government arrangement, the group known for its admiration and love for Scottish Whiskey and blended wine at one of the high end joints in the city while on a social banter could be on a borrowed time in the cabinet, only time will tell.
