Laikipia County Commissioner Onesmus Kyatha has reaffirmed that any armed herder who will confront security officers in the ongoing security operation will be felled.
Kyatha said that the government is not going to negotiate with anyone who is illegally armed following cases of police shooting.
Speaking during Madaraka Day celebrations at Nanyuki Stadium he ordered the security personnel to shoot dead anyone who is trying to use illegal firearm while invading private farms with cattle in the County.
“We are not going to tolerate anybody who opens fire at our security officers and I have ordered that if one does that he should receive like one hundred bullets because he is threatening the security of our land with an illegal firearm,” he said.
