Embu Governor Martin Wambora has sacked six out of the county’s 10 CECs and the acting county secretary, and replaced them with new ones.
The county chief appointed Johnson Nyagah as acting county secretary taking over from Wilson Gitonga.
Wambora has forwarded the names of the new CECs and the retained four, plus that of the new county secretary, to the county assembly for vetting.
Among them is former Alliance Boys High School principal David Kariuki who has been nominated to the trade, tourism and industrialisation docket.
Kariuki quit following allegations of bullying at the school where scores of students were injured.
